On iPhone, Eva is added to the home screen from Safari, with no App Store involved. It gets its own icon and opens full screen, like any other app.

What you will get

Eva will have an icon on your iPhone’s home screen. Opening it from there hides the Safari bar, and your conversations are one tap away.

Requirements

  • An iPhone with Safari. Another browser cannot install it.
  • Your Eva account, to sign in.

Add it to your home screen

1

Open Eva in Safari

Go to app.goeva.ai in Safari and sign in. Inside Eva, the help icon in the top bar opens Install the app; on an iPhone it offers Install on iPhone or iPad.

2

Tap the Share button

In the Safari bar, tap the Share icon (a box with an arrow pointing up).

3

Choose Add to Home Screen

Scroll through the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.

4

Confirm

Tap Add.
Install on iPhone or iPad opens these same three steps inside Eva.

How to know it worked

The Eva icon appears on your iPhone’s home screen. Open it from there: Eva shows without the Safari bar. In SettingsInstall app, the screen now reads EvaAI is already installed.

If something goes wrong

On iPhone only Safari can add to the home screen. Eva says so with To install it, open this page in Safari: and lets you copy the address.
It sits further down the Share menu, after the apps you can share to. Scroll to the end of the list.
You are coming in from Safari, not from the icon. Close the tab and open Eva from the icon on your home screen.
