Back up your chats
Before you start, run the backup from the WhatsApp app you use today. That way the whole history travels.

Install WhatsApp Business
Download it from your phone’s store. Install it without deleting the WhatsApp app you already have.

Open WhatsApp Business and register the same number
The app detects that the number already has an account and offers to bring your chats over. Accept.

Fill in the business profile
Name, category, and description. This is what your customers will see.

Follow WhatsApp's own instructions to finish
WhatsApp changes these screens from time to time. If something does not match what you see, follow WhatsApp’s official instructions for switching from the regular app to WhatsApp Business.
