What you will get
Eva reads your Microsoft calendar for busy times and sends the appointments it books to it. The availability Eva offers a customer takes both agendas into account.Requirements
- An Outlook.com account or a Microsoft 365 work or school account.
- Access to Calendar setup →. Owners and admins can connect another person’s Microsoft calendar; each person can connect their own.
- Microsoft Calendar enabled for your workspace. If your Team row reads Microsoft Calendar isn’t available for this workspace yet., the option has not been turned on for you.
- In a Microsoft 365 organization, an administrator may first need to allow Eva. Microsoft shows that request on the authorization screen.
Connect your account
1
Open Calendar setup
In the side menu, go to Calendars and select Calendar setup →.
2
Start the connection
In Team, find your row and, under Microsoft Calendar, select Connect Microsoft. An
owner or admin can do the same in another person’s row. Microsoft’s sign-in opens in the same tab.
3
Authorize the access
Choose the Microsoft account and accept the calendar permission Eva asks for. Eva requests
access to your calendars only.
4
Wait for the confirmation
Back in Team, the Microsoft row shows your account and reads Syncing… for a moment, then
Connected.

With no Microsoft account connected, the Team row shows the Microsoft Calendar line and its Connect Microsoft button.
What syncs and what does not
Eva reads your primary Microsoft calendar as a busy source. Microsoft events appear in Eva as read-only. Appointments Eva books are delivered to your Microsoft calendar, and Microsoft notifies Eva of changes, so there is no manual refresh button. If the row reads Sync is delayed. Eva will retry automatically., nothing is broken: Eva keeps retrying on its own until the calendar is up to date. What is managed from Microsoft
Microsoft events are read-only in Eva. Change them in Outlook and Eva refreshes them automatically. Appointments Eva creates can be changed in Eva and are delivered to your Microsoft calendar. When the connection drops
If Microsoft revokes access, the person’s Team row shows Needs attention. Select Reconnect Microsoft and authorize again with the same account. Until it reconnects, Eva cannot verify busy times from that Microsoft calendar.Disconnecting keeps Eva appointments
When you disconnect, Microsoft events disappear from Eva. Appointments Eva already booked stay in Eva, and future appointments use Eva Calendar until that person connects Microsoft again. How to know it worked
- Your Team row reads Connected under Microsoft Calendar.
- Busy events from your Microsoft calendar show in Eva.
- Book a test appointment and check that it reaches your Microsoft calendar.
