Connect Outlook or Microsoft 365 to receive and send email from Eva. You sign in and authorize access at Microsoft; you do not enter your password in Eva.

Requirements

  • The owner or administrator role in the Eva workspace
  • Access to sign in to the Microsoft account you want to connect
  • Permission from your organization to authorize apps, if this is a business account

Connect the email

1

Open Members

In Eva, go to Settings → Members. Find the person who will use the email and select + Set up in the Email column.
2

Choose Microsoft

Select Microsoft — Outlook or Office 365.
Dialog with the Google, Microsoft and Other provider options.

The provider chooser inside Set up email.

3

Eva takes you to Microsoft in the same tab. Confirm that you chose the right address.
4

Accept the permissions

Review Microsoft’s screen and select Accept. If your organization requires administrator approval, Microsoft tells you here.
5

Return to Eva

Microsoft sends you back to Eva. The email appears as Connected and starts bringing in recent messages.
Connected Outlook card with the green Connected badge.

The Microsoft mailbox card showing Connected.

The first import covers the last 5 days. Older messages stay in Outlook; new ones continue to arrive in Eva.
If your business email uses Microsoft 365 even though it does not end in @outlook.com, choose Microsoft. Eva also recognizes these accounts if you enter the address under Other provider.

How to know it worked

The card shows Microsoft · Connected. Open Email in the Inbox and confirm that recent messages appear. Then send a test reply to an address you control.

If Microsoft will not let you continue

Your organization controls which apps can access email. Ask the Microsoft 365 administrator to approve Eva, then connect again.
Return to Settings → Members → Email and connect again with the address that should send and receive in Eva.
The card shows Needs attention and explains that Eva lost access. Select Reconnect, sign in to Microsoft, and accept the permissions again.
