Eva installs on your Android phone from the browser, with no app store involved. It gets its own icon and opens full screen, like any other app.

What you will get

Eva will have an icon on your phone’s home screen. Opening it from there hides the browser bar, and your conversations are one tap away.

Requirements

  • An Android phone with Chrome.
  • Your Eva account, to sign in.

Install the app

1

Open Eva in Chrome

Go to app.goeva.ai in Chrome and sign in. Inside Eva, the help icon in the top bar opens Install the app, with these same steps.
The install screen on Android, with the three steps for the browser menu.

The install screen as an Android phone shows it.

2

Open the Chrome menu

Tap the three dots in the top right corner of Chrome.
3

Choose Add to Home screen

In the menu, choose Add to Home screen or Install app, then confirm the installation.
If Chrome offers to install Eva on its own, tap that prompt: it leads to the same result as the menu.

How to know it worked

The Eva icon appears on your phone’s home screen. Open it from there: Eva shows without the browser bar. In SettingsInstall app, the screen now reads EvaAI is already installed.

If something goes wrong

Chrome does not always show one. That is why the installation runs from the Chrome menu (the three dots, top right), with Add to Home screen or Install app.
You are on a computer. Installation happens from the phone’s browser: open app.goeva.ai in Chrome on your Android and repeat the steps above.
You are coming in from Chrome, not from the icon. Close the tab and open Eva from the icon on your home screen.
