# Connect several numbers in one agent

> One agent can handle several WhatsApp numbers at once. How they appear in the list, what is set per number, and how to tell which one received each conversation.

One Eva agent can handle several WhatsApp numbers at the same time, mixing numbers that stay in the WhatsApp Business app with numbers that live only in Eva.

## What you will get

Every number of the agent in one list, each with its status. Conversations from all of them reach the same Inbox, and each one says which number it came in on.

## Requirements

* An agent that already exists, with at least one WhatsApp number connected.
* Permission to manage that agent's channels.

## Add another number

In **AI Agents** → **Channels** → WhatsApp you see the agent's list of numbers.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select Connect another number">
    The button sits below the list. Eva asks again where that number lives today.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Follow that number's route">
    If you already use it in the WhatsApp Business app, go to [Keep using your WhatsApp Business app](/en/channels/whatsapp/keep-using-whatsapp-business). If it will live only in Eva, go to [Connect a number already on the API](/en/channels/whatsapp/use-number-only-in-eva).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Come back to the list">
    The new number is added to the list. The ones already there do not change.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Every number is connected separately, with its own confirmation. Connecting the second one never disconnects the first.
</Note>

## How to read the list

Each row carries the number, and the verified name once Meta approved it.

* The **Personal** tag is a number that stays in the WhatsApp Business app on the phone.
* The **Dedicated** tag is a number that lives only in Eva.
* The status says where the connection stands: **Connected**, **In progress**, **Needs attention**, **Disconnected** or **Not registered**.

That row's actions sit on the right. **Templates** opens that number's templates. **Manage** opens that number's settings.

## What is set per number and what belongs to the agent

What changes per number lives under **Manage**, in three tabs: **Links**, **Profile** and **Advanced**. That is where the **Business profile** your customers see, that number's direct link, and its finer settings are.

What belongs to the agent is not duplicated: the AI name, its instructions and its knowledge are the same for every one of its numbers. One agent, several front doors.

The pipeline leads land in is decided per channel, in Routing. When you connect a number, Eva proposes the agent's default pipeline and leaves it saved.

## How to tell which number received a conversation

In the [Inbox](/en/crm/inbox), each conversation shows the number that received it, and when you reply the sender menu beside the message box shows which one your reply will go out from.

Switching numbers when replying is always confirmed first: it reaches the customer as a separate chat, from another number.

## How to know it worked

The list shows both numbers with their status. Ask for a test message to each one from another phone and confirm both conversations appear in the Inbox, each with its own number.

## If something goes wrong

* A number reads **Not registered**: Meta has not finished the registration. Select **Retry** on that row.
* A number reads **Needs attention**: open that row and read the reason Eva shows before retrying.
* A number went **Disconnected**: see [Keep and recover your connection](/en/channels/whatsapp/maintain-and-recover).
* **Connect another number** is missing: you do not have permission to manage that agent's channels.
